A Short Walk was a damn fine read and enjoyed by all, if we do say so ourselves! Sorry, getting carried away with the imperialism but thumbs up from everyone. It made some of us want to get up off our rather cold backsides and do something fantastic and extremely challenging, makes the walk to work in the snow seem rather tame!!
Plans for the Christmas meal finalised so check the separate post for that.
First book group of the new year on the 5th! New venue to start the New Year, as much as we love the Bread and Roses we're sometimes getting a little squeezed what with the quiz AND the football. Going to try out the Royal Oak which is just opposite Clapham North Tube (check the name of the pub before you go in, there are three in that area!!) hopefully still fairly convenient for everyone .
We'll choose our book from one of the Secret Santa presents at the meal so will update the blog once we know what it is (ie after the 15th).
